Quality Assurance Specialist
Remote – Must Reside Within a 2-Hour Radius of Dallas, TX
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $18-$21/hr DOE
• Start Date: November 2025 - project anticipated to last through March 2026
• Available to work an 8 hour shift between 7am-8pm
ROLE IMPACT
The Quality Assurance Specialist ensures the accuracy and compliance of benefit verification work during the benefit reverification project. This role involves detailed review of documentation, consistent use of quality scorecards, and proactive feedback to leadership to maintain high standards. Success is measured by the ability to detect errors, ensure corrective action, and consistently meet assigned quality quotas.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Review daily benefit verification records for completeness and accuracy against established quality standards
• Document evaluations using departmental quality monitoring templates and post results to the job file
• Identify and correct errors prior to release of Statements of Benefit
• Participate in calibration meetings to maintain evaluation consistency across the QA team
• Track and report quality trends, providing actionable feedback to program operations leadership
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 1–2 years’ experience in benefit investigations, medical insurance, or related healthcare reimbursement role preferred
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform high-volume quality control checks
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for documentation and reporting
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Proven ability to meet daily productivity and accuracy quotas

• Quality monitoring and documentation templates
• CRM or benefit verification tracking systems
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Knowledge of reimbursement and patient assistance programs
• Experience in quality assurance protocols in a healthcare setting
• Strong organizational and time-management skills in remote work environments
EQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Primarily seated work; occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs
• Standard home office noise levels
