On-site in Lynchburg, Virginia

 

Your Day to Day as a Quality Tech 3: 

  • Creates Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) inspection programs using vendor software.
  • Conducts software testing and validation to originator requirements.
  • Creates software documentation to comply with quality assurance requirements.
  • Ensures software design specifications meet functional specifications.
  • Troubleshoots software issues.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a H.S. Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Five or more years of Quality Control experience is required.
  • Must possess the ability to read and understand technical documents.
  • Previous Experience using common languages (e.g. Camio, CMES, Modus, Etc.) is required.
  • Must be highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly.
  • Ability to work in a team oriented, collaborative environment is required.
  • Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities is required.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship. 
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree is preferred.
  • Two or more years of experience with a CMM is preferred.
