Develop legal strategies for commercial litigation matters, primarily in the areas of copyright and trademark.
Retain and manage qualified outside counsel,
Set budgets and closely manage litigation expenses.
Provide actionable, clear, and timely advice to internal clients.
Recognize operational risks and work with stakeholders to remediate them.
Identify emerging litigation trends, spot issues across matters, and ensure consistency of positions.
What you'll bring…
Have at least five years of subject matter expertise in copyright and trademark litigation, including experience responding to demand letters and proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
Have had an array of professional experiences, including private practice, in-house litigation management, and/or a judicial clerkship.
Are a thought leader who thinks critically about the law, stays abreast of changes in the legal landscape, and contributes meaningfully to legal discourse and scholarship.
Communicate complicated legal principles in a way that is easily understood and delivers decisive advice that can be acted upon by busy non-lawyers .
Thrive in a fast-paced environment and work with a sense of urgency.
Are an excellent legal writer.
Consistently exercise good judgment and have keen instincts
Are process-minded and have implemented solutions to streamline litigation management.
Are friendly with a sense of humor.

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00-$260,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
