SoLo Funds is seeking a tech-savvy Financial Analyst to join our growing FP&A team and help transform the digital lending space. This role will primarily be responsible for developing and preparing financial forecasts, managing reporting, assisting in M&A processes, and undertaking ad-hoc projects to support management decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business partnering, cash flow management, financial modeling, balance sheet analysis, and process improvement. This individual will be instrumental in driving the financial planning and analysis function, guiding strategic decision-making, and optimizing financial performance.

What You'll Do:

• Support cash flow forecasting and management efforts, ensuring liquidity and financial stability
• Develop complex financial models to assess various financial scenarios and support strategic initiatives
• Prepare financial reports in accordance with regulatory standards and agency requirements governing financial institutions and markets
• Conduct thorough balance sheet analyses and report on key financial performance indicators
• Ad-hoc Reporting: Deliver on-demand analysis and reports to provide real-time financial insights that support agile business decisions
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline FP&A activities and enhance reporting accuracy
• Collaborate with each department to align data, insights, and deliverables, and prepare annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans
• Analyze current and past financial data and performance, preparing reports and projections based on this analysis
• Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
• Monitor and report on financial performance, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variances
• Lead the development of executive-level reporting and present financial insights to senior management
• Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting tools, systems, and procedures

You're a Great Fit if You Have:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting (MBA preferred)
• 4+ years of relevant work experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
• Proficiency in data and analytics platforms, including SQL and Looker/Tableau
• Proficiency in creating executive-level presentations, reporting templates, and visual dashboards
• Thorough knowledge of financial and accounting fundamentals, including accrual accounting, trial balances, and double-entry principles
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail
