Job Description

The Simulation Technician supports nursing simulation operations by maintaining and operating simulation equipment, including manikins, AV systems, and control devices.

• Responsibilities include setting up, cleaning, restocking, and troubleshooting simulation spaces, training faculty, and managing inventory.
• They also perform technology updates, repairs, and assist with equipment troubleshooting.
• The role involves collaboration with faculty, leadership, and community outreach, ensuring safety and hygiene standards.
• Requirements include a healthcare or technical background, proficiency in AV and simulation tech, strong communication, and organizational skills. Preferred certifications include CHSE or CHSOS. The position reports to the Nurse Administrator and supports simulation excellence in nursing education.
