Social Media Manager – Digital Content & Brand Engagement | Remote or Hybrid (U.S. Based)

We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager for a contract opportunity. In this role, you’ll take full ownership of day-to-day organic social execution—ideating content, writing copy, publishing across platforms, and actively engaging with our online community. If you're fluent in short-form storytelling, trend-savvy, and have a passion for elevating brand voice through digital platforms, this is your opportunity to make a flavorful impact.

Pay Rate: $46.15 per hour

Employment Type: Contract

Location: Remote or hybrid, U.S.-based

Schedule: Flexible, with availability to respond in real-time during key business hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the content calendar using Notion, organizing weekly and monthly social media schedules
• Pitch and develop content ideas aligned with brand voice, seasonal campaigns, product highlights, and digital trends
• Create simple social-first assets including carousels, memes, and static graphics using Canva or similar tools
• Write engaging, clever captions that reflect the brand’s personality and encourage audience interaction
• Publish and optimize content for Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms
• Monitor and respond to comments and DMs to foster a fun and inclusive community atmosphere
• Coordinate with internal teams to align content around marketing campaigns, product launches, and key initiatives
• Stay current with social media trends, viral content, and platform innovations to inspire quick-turn creative ideas

What We're Looking For:

• 2–4 years of professional experience managing social media accounts for brands, agencies, or content-rich organizations
• Expertise in Instagram and TikTok, with a strong understanding of platform algorithms and engagement strategies
• Excellent writing and editing skills with a focus on short-form, on-brand copy
• Experience creating visual content in Canva or similar design platforms
• Highly organized with strong project management skills; familiar with tools like Notion, Sprout Social, or platform-native schedulers
• Proactive and collaborative mindset; able to take ownership while working cross-functionally
• Bonus: Background in food, hospitality, QSR, or CPG brands is a major plus
