Job Title - Analyst/Developer - Specialty 3 - Tableau Developer

Location: Chicago, Peoria, IL or Dallas/Irving, TX Locations - in office in 5x days a week

Duration: 12 months

Position's Contributions to Work Group :

• AKA: Tableau Developer. Creation of business-critical dashboards for multiple departments.
• Transformation of data needed for the dashboards.
• Ensuring proper security models for dashboards as these will contain sensitive, high priority data

Typical task breakdown:

• Development of new visualizations, Maintenance of existing dashboards etc., Validation of access, working with and communicating with project leads. Candidate will be expected to be on-site.

Education & Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably related to business analytics, data science, statistics, economics, mathematics, or a similar field with quantitative coursework plus 5+ years exp.
• Masters degree with 4+ years' experience
• PhD would still need 4+ years' experience.
• NO degree, candidate must have 10+ years' experience

Technical Skills

(Required)

• Required: Industry standard Visualization Tools: 5+ years exp Tableau(required), Power BI (preferred) *high level visual communication skills and independence

(Desired)

• Desired: Data transformation Tools: SQL language, Snowflake, Salesforce, Google Analytics *ie developing dashboards for large companies

Soft Skills

(Required)

• Demonstrated teamwork, initiative, and interpersonal skills Ability to communicate effectively with team members.

Disqualifiers/Red Flags :

• If candidate's current residence/location Is not listed on resume, it will be DQ.
• If candidate is currently not local to Chicago, Peoria or Irving/Dallas, but open to relocation on their own dime, they will be considered, however, they will not be considered initially on the first round. Also make sure that the candidate's status to relocating is clear on resume.
