Position: Writer/Editor (Temporary, Remote)
Location: Washington, DC
Pay: $37–$45/hour (based on experience)
Summary:
V-Tech Solutions is seeking a Writer/Editor in Washington, DC, to support projects by providing
writing and editorial expertise for print, web, and digital content. This includes marketing and
communication materials, child welfare publications, and content for special initiatives or annual
events.
Responsibilities:
1. Research, write, and edit print and web content.
2. Collaborate with internal and external subject-matter experts to develop and update
publications.
3. Maintain editorial standards in accordance with the Information Gateway style guide.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
2. Experience in print and digital content development
Skills:
1. Strong writing, editing, and proofreading abilities
2. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
3. Ability to collaborate effectively and meet deadlines
4. Familiarity with editorial style guides and digital publishing tools (preferred)
