Your Role as an Experienced Solar Installer

As a key member of a 3-person crew, you’ll work alongside our electricians to install solar systems safely, efficiently, and to our high-quality standards. In this position, you'll take the lead on the roof work for each installation.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Read and interpret solar plan-sets
• Install solar systems on a variety of roof types
• Lead the roof layout and complete roof penetrations
• Ensure racking is level and properly grounded
• Bend and run conduit on rooftops
• Handle basic electrical tasks on the roof (home runs, jumper wires, etc.)
• Install tilt kits and solar modules
• Represent Simply Solar with professionalism and positivity

Who Are You

You’re a driven, hands-on professional with strong installation skills and a bit of electrical know-how. You’re hungry to learn more, grow your skill set, and do meaningful work. Safety, quality, and professionalism are values you live by.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 1.5 years of experience in solar installation or roofing
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites
• Great communication and attention to detail
• Experience with ground mounts or batteries (a plus)
• Crew leadership or training experience (a bonus)
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check
